1. The lottery for the Raffle of Hope will take place starting September 22, 2020 until November 3, 2020, closing 10:00 a.m. EST. Final draw will be held at 11 a.m. Stouffville Toyota, 1288 Millard St, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON.
2. Early bird draw for the Samsung 75 inch TV will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11 a.m. at the offices of Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, 303-379 Church Street, Markham ON. Tickets must be purchased by 10 a.m. to be eligible for early bird draw.
3. All tickets will only be sold to people who are 18 years of age or older.
4. Tickets are 1 for $25, 3 for $50 and 7 for $100. A maximum of 16,000 tickets will be sold.
5. Tickets will be available online and on site at Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
6. Tickets will be drawn from fourth prize to first prize, first prize: 2021 RAV4 XLE FWD valued at $38,009.47; second prize: Ladies Diamond Bracelet valued at $35,934; third prize: Samsung Package valued at $6,440.97, fourth prize: 13” MacBook Pro valued at $2,484.87, early bird prize: Samsung 75 inch TV valued, $1,694.99 for a total prize board of $84,564.30.
7. Tickets will be sold online at the raffleofhope.info website. Electronic point of sale raffle system will be used at Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
8. After buying, patrons will be given by the sellers, a receipt with their registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly. All patrons will be required to give their name, address and phone number for each ticket purchased.
9. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw. After each winning ticket is drawn it will be returned and eligible for all subsequent draws.
10. The winning number will be announced on the raffleofhope.info website on the date of the draw. All winners will be notified by mail or phone. Winners agree to the use of their name and photo for announcement/publicity purposes by Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
11. The winner may claim their prize by contacting MSH Foundation at: (905) 472-7059 or by email at: events@msh.on.ca. The ticket may then be brought to 379 Church Street, Suite 303, Markham at an agreed upon time for ticket verification. The winner will then be presented the prize as indicated. Winners must have the original winning ticket and no copies.
12. It shall be the responsibility of the winner to license and insure the car from the time of ownership. Please allow a minimum of four weeks for delivery of vehicle. 2021 vehicle will be released in October 2020 and pricing is approximate based on 2020 model.
13. The Samsung prize will be delivered within 6-8 weeks following the date of the draw. Installation not included.
14. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
15. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given the prize. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
16. Prizes may not be exactly as shown. No cash value or substitutions for any of the prizes.
17. All prizes are tax-exempt and must be accepted as awarded.
18. Any prizes which are not claimed must be secured or placed in safekeeping for a period of six (6) months from the date of the draw. If at that time the prize has still not been claimed, the prize or monies equivalent to the fair market value of the prize must be donated to a beneficiary approved by the licensing authority.
19. Raffle guidelines prohibit the following individuals and all of their family members residing in the same household from purchasing a ticket: Board Members and employees of Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation, Board Members and senior management of Markham Stouffville Hospital, Foundation Auditors and any person(s) involved in the conduct of the raffle.
20. The above set of rules will be posted at each event.

PRIVACY

The Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation respects your privacy and will never sell, trade, or loan your information to any other organization. We will use your information for statistical and administrative purposes and to keep our supporters informed of the activities of Markham Stouffville Hospital and the Foundation.

LIABILITY

The Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation is responsible for the conduct and management of the lottery including prizes until they have been awarded.
